I purchased these shorts to wear with a tankini top that I already had. The top is navy blue with a lighter blue trim, and luckily, matched the shorts perfectly. The picture makes the shorts look a little loud, but they are actually more subdued than they look.

They are well made, there are no strings hanging off, or wayward seams. The closure is a plastic snap with velcro in the "zipper area" (there is no zipper, velcro instead). They worked well in the water, felt light on, and dried quickly.
