Having purchased several Speedo Conservative suits in the past I expected much the same. However, this suit does run a bit smaller that I expected so had to tug it on a bit.

Too new to know how long it will last in the chlorinated water, but my other suits are not aquatic extra life and they lasted close to a year with at least weekly use. I am at the pool 7 times in 5 days for work/play for 30 minutes to 2 hours at a time. I have a different suit for each visit which is why my suits are generally worn only once or twice a week.

I purchased these shorts to wear with a tankini top that I already had. The top is navy blue with a lighter blue trim, and luckily, matched the shorts perfectly. The picture makes the shorts look a little loud, but they are actually more subdued than they look.

I love this suit. It's extremely flattering, and it's one of the few maternity suits I found to have enough coverage to keep my pregnant boobs from falling out the sides (as attractive as that is, don't designers realize that it's not just our bellies that get bigger when we're pregnant?). The separate swim bottom is cut to fit up over a pregnant belly, which is nice when you're big, slightly less so when you're not yet. The halter actually ties behind the neck, so you can adjust to suit your figure, and I liked the look of the ties hanging down my back. All in all, I've never felt so confident in a bathing suit, and I'm bummed that I'll be shrinking out of it soon.
